There are a couple of ways of getting to Latvia by rail, with the first being from London to Stockholm then by catching a ferry on to Riga (it’s cheating, but we won’t tell). The other main route is by train from London to Warsaw, then on to Riga. These links are not as direct as to some other countries, but they are certainly easy enough.
